I adopted two native Canadian children many years ago. They're 31 and 34 now. One I only hear from when he calls from jail... at least I know he's still alive. The other, his sister, is struggling also. They're both fetal alcohol babies. My son had a serious relationship with a native girl and has a daughter, and inherited her son..the mother is struggling with drugs and alcohol now too, and is absent in her children's lives... so, native spirituality, music, philosophy, art is no stranger to me. I made every effort I could while the kids were young, to give them the gift of their heritage. My 6 yr old grand daughter participates in jingle dances, pow wows, whenever we can take her. The videos you sent me sound so soothing and life-giving, I will watch them again with my grand daughter... they remind me of Celtic music in many ways. I believe music and spiritual beliefs have that common thread.

Thanks again GWW, it feels like you understand my struggle instead of trivializing it. That alone gives me strength. Thank you.
