Quite a few people seem to have moved on to PL1 lately and I was wondering how long you stayed on the last disk of Al4. I have been there for 4 months now and not much is happening and was curious to see whether you stayed for the whole 6 months.

Sue,

I also had the same experience with AL4 and to be frank, I was getting bored. I was ready to move on by the
time I was in my 4th month.

I called CRI and spoke to one of the coaches, who explained that even though I couldn't feel anything
happening, that didn't mean that it wasn't working

My understanding is there is a period of letting all of the changes take effect. Sort of the same concept when you
build a house there is a time to let the foundation settle. That's why sometimes you may have some nail pops, or
drywall cracks, or a door may bind in a new house.

The last 1-2 months are giving your brain time to adjust to all of the previous changes it has experienced.

The CRI coach also told me that some people who decide to start the new level before their brain has
totally adjusted, may possibly experience a lot of of overwhelm, and resistance.I decided to just finish out the
remaining 2 months and had a smooth transition in Purification.

As with all things, your mileage may vary!:-)

Hi SO,
I have been on AL4 for 10 months - 2 months on each of the 1st 3 disks and then 4 months on Disk 4. They recommend 8-12months for the levels from Al4 onwards. I was just wondering if the others were spending the whole 6 months on disk 4. I am happy to do this but there does not seem to be a whole lot going on just now which is quite enjoyable. Maybe I should just be grateful.
Cheers

I'm glad we're having this conversation. Thanks Elon for your input. Now I'm wondering if I'm moving ahead too quickly. I almost always do my H/S session to fall asleep to. Centerpointe had mentioned to me that this way may not be as effective since sleep patterns could interrupt the brain waves. Then there was also a concern that my earbuds may have been popping out prior to the end of the session and I, being asleep, wouldn't know it. So, I'm wondering if I'm moving ahead on schedule, but before I'm ready for the next level. What I think I'll do is do my sessions during non-sleep hours and do previous versions to fall asleep to.

The AL4 directions says to extend the use of the first three CDs to eight weeks and the last CD to six full months. What I don't understand is the last statement which states, "Awakening Level 4 takes approximately eight to twelve months to complete". Why the leeway of four months?

Well, I'm only on AL3, but this is what it said on the back of the box for AL4 and beyond. Why it mentions those levels on levels prior to AL4, I don't know.

It states (again for AL4), "For Disc #4 listen up to six full months before moving on to the next level (Purification Level 1)". Apparently it's using six months as a maximum, but it didn't mention any minimum. But you're confirming that two months would be the minimum, which explains the eight to twelve month instruction.

Frank,

I actually spoke to Bill at a HS retreat about the subject of sleeping while HSing and he did say that sitting up was the preferred method to HS. However CRI's research indicated that, laying down or sleeping was acceptable and delivered the same results.

Bill's point was that it really depends on the person. The sitting up suggestion is more of a guideline.

My experience up to that point was that I was sitting up, and it was uncomfortable. When I used it laying down or to fall asleep to, I actually felt like I was getting more and faster results.

I like your idea of using the previous sessions to fall asleep to. Very creative!

Elon

It seems like sitting up or laying down is one of those "your mileage may vary" things.

"There's also plenty of benefit from a good night's sleep". Amen to that!

And Elon, I heard the same from Centerpointe as Brad did, but I continued to use my session to fall asleep to. You said (earlier), "The CRI coach also told me that some people who decide to start the new level before their brain has totally adjusted, may possibly experience a lot of of overwhelm, and resistance". My experience has been that doing the levels in the recommended time but while sleeping still falls in that category". I truly think I've been kidding myself. I would compare it to preparing for a stiff 5 K uphill hike by practicing each day walking around the neighborhood. Well, that may be a stretch, but you get the idea.

I notice a marked differance from sitting and laying. When sitting I often feel energies swirling around various parts of my head, and when on my back I don't feel anything. I never fall asleep though. It's winter here and at 6:30 am it's hard to get out of bed some mornings. But according to the people from Perfect Meditation that I use, apart from the problem of falling asleep, which hampers the effectiveness, the bodies energies don't flow as well as they do when sitting. Don't know how true this is, but from my experiance there is something to it. So I'll continue to sit, can't wait till summer though, brrrrr.

I've been on Awakening level 4, disk 4 for about 3 months and I'm itching to go to Purification, emailed
participants 4 times over 2 weeks - never got a response. Emailed support - and they responded - asking
if I was ready, I said yes, they are shipping it. I'm getting bored with level 4 disk 4. Can't wait for Purification
first level.

Hi Mark,
I hung in there for five months and am just near the end of the 14 days of dive for PL1 Disk1. So far so good :-)

Wow, still dive only again?, I will soon find out if Purification level 1, CD 1 is "stronger"
than Awakening lvl 4, and wonder just the dive alone again?

Had to stop myself falling off the chair a couple of times!

And yes it is the usual thing with CD1 - listen to the dive alone for 14 days - I'm reading from the box.
